Advent is a season of pausing, pondering, and preparing for celebrating the arrival of the Christ Child. It is a time of wonder and expectation.

Teaching generosity to our grandkids is a gift that will bless them for a lifetime. Each of these nine practices offers a way for us to connect everyday actions to the timeless truths of Scripture.

As I pondered what I want to thank God for this year, I appreciated the reminder I received when I thought about Legacy Coalition’s theme for the month of November: Remembering God’s Faithfulness.

“We will not hide these truths from our children; we will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the LORD, about His power and his mighty wonders.” – Psalm 78:4

Legacy Coalition is heading toward its 10th anniversary in 2026 — a milestone that marks a decade of God’s faithfulness and answered prayers.

Have you noticed that judgment of others is in abundance these days, and grace is often hard to find?

Parenting does not end when our children turn 18; it simply shifts. And if we don’t shift with it, we risk damaging the very relationships we long to preserve. If we want to have an impact on our grandchildren and be intentional, we must choose relationship with our adult kids over being right.

Grace-filled holidays – reality or fantasy? May it be a reality for you this holiday season. In fact, may your holiday season result in a grace-multiplied holiday! Now may “the grace of the Lord Jesus be with you all.” (Revelation 22:21)
