As children begin to talk and are able to converse back and forth with you, you can begin to teach them simple prayers that thank God for family members, a home, food, rain, sunshine, and green grass.

As the summer marches on, many of our churches are planning out their church calendar year starting with Fall.

But, I don’t believe that anything is more important for nurturing their love for the Lord, their commitment to Christ, and their character development than praying, and the book of Proverbs is a great starting place for those prayers.

We need to give our children and grandchildren a good reason to believe we can all meet together again in our eternal home!

God’s Word tells us we will experience hard times—and should even expect them!
