It is easy for our grandchildren to get lost in this world of ever-competing messages. They might be frightened by what they hear, see, and feel.

Let’s not limit our scope to church programs. Why not think about equipping the members of our churches for their most crucial relationships in everyday life?

What we teach our children and grandchildren about God now will impact their eternity — and also what they, in turn, then leave behind or pass on to their children. We are called to leave a spiritual impact on our families to be handed down.

Wie ist es in unserem hektischen Leben überhaupt möglich, alles zu überprüfen, Absichten zu entschlüsseln oder zugrundeliegende Absichten zu erkennen? Wie können wir wachsam bleiben?

Wenn wir weiter darüber nachdenken, wie wir unsere Großelternschaft zielgerichtet gestalten können, ist das Gebet eines der wichtigsten Dinge, die wir mit Absicht und Konsequenz tun wollen.

Lasst uns als Großeltern in Erinnerung bleiben, die unablässig, zielstrebig und von Herzen beteten und damit viel erreichten.

I have always heard that our prayer life is one of the most vital parts of this life we enjoy with the Lord Jesus Christ. In fact, prayer is one of the authenticating ‘birthmarks’ of a Christian in love with the Savior.

We can’t be perfect, but by seeking to reflect God’s love into our grandkids’ lives, we can be good parents and grandparents. And we can point our grandchildren to their perfect Heavenly Father.
